Why This Site Exists
A snowmobile listing at Tahoe tells you the price and the ride time. It rarely tells you that the two-hour Hope Valley ride starts with a 2 hour 15 minute check-in at Zephyr Cove, that snow gear rents at $12 an item on top, or that two of the listings sold online cannot be refunded once booked. Setting those facts next to each other, per listing, is the whole job of this site.
Where the Facts Come From
Prices, inclusions, age rules, check-in times, pickup stops and cancellation terms come from each operator's own listing on the platform that sells it, and for Viator from the platform's partner data. Trail areas, Sno-Park permits and road rules come from the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, California State Parks, Caltrans and the Nevada Department of Transportation. Temperatures come from the ERA5 climate record.
Where two sources disagree, the page says so rather than picking the tidier number.
